Asphodel Norwood Community Center Protocols/Rules

We are happy to share that with the most recent announcements by the province, there have been some changes to our rental agreement


Effective today, Wednesday Oct 27 - Amendments to the ANCC (Norwood) RULES & PROTOCOLS are as follows.

  1. Spectator limits increased to 4 per player
  2. All eligible spectators (12+) entering must be FULLY vaccinated  (two doses plus 14 days) 
  3. Dressing rooms open for players/coaches/officials (no capacity) 30 minutes prior to game time
  4. Enter lobby entrance and exit side entrance - please follow all signage 
  5. 4 parent volunteers for dressing rooms if needed
  6. All spectators shall be masked at all times while in facility
  7. Lobby is closed to spectators - seating in the stands only.  
  8. Doors open 30 minutes in advance of rental
  9. Doors closed and locked 15 minutes prior rental
  10. Screening rep at front doors - contact tracing to be shown as well as proof of full vaccination (2 doses plus 14 days) 
  11. No outside food or drink
  12. CONTACT TRACING to be completed before arrival at the arena -a screen shot to be shown to screener at the doors. Form is available on our website. Should you not have a phone - a verbal screening can be done at the door.  


Proof of Vaccination, Screening and Contact Tracing are all still required with each visit (practice or game).

OMHA distributed an announcement today confirming The OMHA Vaccination POLICY will stay in effect meaning all players 12+ must be fully vaccinated on or before October 31, 2021 to participate in OMHA sanctioned activities.

Asphodel Norwood Community Centre also released documentation today supporting the Provincial order that As of Sept 22, ALL COACHES,STAFF, REFEREES, SPECTATORS 12+ must show that they have been fully vaccinated to enter the Norwood arena


-Vaccine verification starts Sept 22 for all coaches, staff, referees, spectators 12+. Proof of vaccination along with ID will be required - A NDMS representative will be checking upon entry. Please have it ready in hand 


Acceptable Documentation Acceptable documents serving as evidence of COVID-19 vaccination include: 

• A digital or physical Dose Administration Receipt. 

• Medical records signed by a licensed health care provider indicating vaccine name and date(s) of administration. 

• Government verification/language (e.g. Government issued vaccine passport or card)
