FAQs

Returning players will be required to submit their full name and date of birth. Check our website for detailed instructions and a link to our online registration page. If you are a returning player and have moved since your last registration, please contact your last registered association to confirm your eligibility and complete the change of residential address process. This must be done before attending tryouts.
Costs aren’t as high as you think. We have a basic registration fee which includes a standard level of programming. Additional activity may involve extra fees on a user-pay basis.
The current targeted start date is mid-September 2021.
Basic registration includes standard programming: usually one practice and one game per week, a hockey jersey and hockey socks. (This may vary, so please contact us for details.)

Preparation Phase

We believe your child’s first experience in the new hockey season should be friendly and relaxed. Our goal is to give players the chance to re-engage and get back into the swing of things without feeling the stress of evaluation.

Player Evaluation (Tryouts)

The goal of tryouts is to make sure players are grouped with teammates of similar skill levels to ensure their maximum growth. Team composition may vary with the different needs of specific associations and their communities. Tryouts will be held from September 10, 2021 to October 3, 2021.

Development Phase

The development phase is the period of time between tryouts and the start of the season. During this time, coaches focus on delivering on-ice skill development sessions, so players feel better prepared for the start of organized games.

Regular Season

During the regular season, coaches plan practises that focus on players’ needs. Practise sessions alternate with scheduled games, so players can continue developing their skills and have the opportunity to put these skills into action each week.
