James Simpson Registration Assistance
James Simpson was a son, a brother, a husband, a paramedic with Toronto EMS and, when his son was younger, a hockey coach. Though originally from Toronto, he was never happier than when at his beloved farm in Norwood. Here, he forged many friendships and considered the community a welcome respite from his role as a first responder. In the summer of 2013, James died after suffering a heart attack while working on his farm. It’s in his spirit of always giving back that his family is happy to provide financial support to young players who may not have the resources to become involved in minor league hockey.
Registration assistance is available starting with the 2019/2020 season.
