FREE CONCUSSION SCREENING
FREE BASELINE CONCUSSION screenings offered at The Posture Clinic in Peterborough.
The best way to rule in or out a concussion is to have a good baseline screening. Many people may have a neck injury that mimics a concussion. We can tell by comparison if it is a concussion or another injury that has similar symptoms (i.e neck injury) with athletes that have had the screenings completed.
Appointments times are set up for each age division, usually during an evening after 7:00 pm Monday through Friday. After completing the screening, if a trainer thinks that a player has concussion symptoms following a game or practice etc they can book an appointment at The Posture Clinic for treatment. Treatment is free unless the individual is covered under an extended health insurance plan. In that circumstance we ask that they pay a $50 fee which can be submitted to their private insurance company for reimbursement.
