Dear Hornets Community,
We are excited to announce our upcoming
“Fill the Net – Hornets Give Back” Food Drive, taking place December 12–14! This year, we’re coming together to support local families and Asphodel Norwood Food Bank during a time when community needs are especially great.
Over the three-day event, we invite players, team staff, families, and community members to donate non-perishable food items and help us “FILL THE NET” with generosity and Hornets pride. Every can, box, and bag makes a meaningful difference.
Donation Details:
Dates: December 12–14
Drop-Off Locations: Asphodel Norwood Community Centre - lobby
Most Needed Items: Canned vegetables, Peanut Butter,Canned Meat (salmon, ham, flaked chicken), Canned beans (kidney, chickpeas, baked beans), Chef Boyardee and other shelf-stable goods
In addition, the Asphodel Norwood Food Bank is accepting a couple of additional options to food drop off this holiday season.
- You can make a monetary donation that will sponsor a family. Donations can be made by sending an e-transfer to [email protected]. Please include your address in the comment section to receive a tax receipt.
- Purchase a $20 Foodland Gift Card that can be shared with a family. Families will be receiving Foodland gift cards in $20 amounts. We will provide a drop box for gift cards
