COVID-19 Protocol 2022-23 (Norwood Minor Hockey)

PrintCOVID-19 Protocol 2022-23

Covid Protocol for the 2022-23 Season.

As in the past, protocols are forever changing and we will stay diligent and update the membership if there are any changes.

We have been in communication with PPH and they have shared the following information with us. If ever in doubt, certainly we recommend reaching out to PPH if you have further questions.

Our biggest request - IF YOU'RE SICK STAY HOME (and, please let your coach know)

1.Assessment - Please self assess before going to the arena. IF YOU ARE SICK - STAY HOME
2. Monitor your symptoms, seek treatment/testing if required and stay home
3. Isolation Period - Until symptoms have been improving for 24 hours (or 48 hours if gastro symptoms) and no fever present. Asymptomatic individuals with a positive test do not need to self-isolate unless they develop symptoms
4.Once you are done your self isolation, for 10 DAYS after your symptoms started you are to:
- Wear a well-fitted mask in a public areas
- Avoid activities where you need to take off your mask (e.g. dining out, playing a musical instrument or playing high contact sports)
Due to this we are asking that players not return to hockey for 10 days after symptoms have started.

We are looking forward to a great season of Hornets hockey and will do our part to ensure everyone stays healthy and safe

If at anytime you have questions or concerns, please reach out Ryan Post President [email protected] OR Jen Stewart [email protected]
